Mix Minus on Sound Devices MixPre
In today’s episode we show you when and how to setup a mix-minus when you record a podcast with your Sound Devices MixPre and you have a remote guest via Skype. A mix-minus makes it so that your remote podcast guest doesn’t have an annoying echo of their own voice in their headphones.

In today’s episode we have a look at and listen to the Audient evo 4 USB audio interface. What’s the use of an audio interface? It allows you to attach high quality XLR microphones and powered speakers/near-field monitors to your computer or tablet. In the case of the evo 4, this is an affordable audio interface with impressive preamplifiers and a feature set which will work very nicely for many people.
